Introduction

Tasks are various activities that are not related to paperwork.
Examples of tasks: check price tags, pick up documents, take pictures of equipment, etc.
Tasks can be assigned both to a point of sale and to an employee's working day.
Tasks are created in ST-Mobi.com in the directory Agent tasks.

Task list

Calling dialog form:  > Tasks

This screen is, in fact, a report on the completion of tasks!
Tasks are performed directly when working in retail outlets!
Tasks screen is divided into two areas:

  • at left - list of available tasks is displayed,
  • at right - report of selected task completion.

Width of each area is adjusted by moving the dividing strip to the left or right.

     — task assigned to the route can be started when working on the route.
     — task assigned to a point of sale can be started during a visit to this point.

Tasks can be one-time (without repetition) or periodic (repeated every day, week or month). 
Mandatory tasks are marked with an exclamation mark.

There are two tabs under the task list: My and Feed.

My tasks

Calling dialog form:  > Tasks > My

My tab displays a list of your tasks.

Event Feed

Calling dialog form:  > Tasks > Feed

Feed tab displays the timeline of tasks completed over the past two weeks.

Task Search

To find task in the list, enter its name in the search bar.
System will display the appropriate tasks.

Working with Tasks

Calling dialog form:  > Route

To start the task, go to the route screen.

Tasks at point of sale

Tasks assigned to the point of sale are displayed on the right side of the screen.

Tasks on route

To see list of tasks assigned to the route, click Operations on route.

Task statuses

     — task in progress,
     — completed task;
     — mandatory task.

Task completion

  1. Click on the task name, screen with information will appear: the name of the task, its author and description.
  2. Click Begin. Dialog will appear: Start a task?
  3. Click again Begin. From this moment on, the task is considered accepted for work.
  4. To add a photo to the task, click on the area with + and select one of the options:
    • Take photo — take a new photo using the device's camera.
    • Upload from Gallery — select a photo from the ones available on the device.
  5. After creating/selecting a photo, its thumbnail will appear on the task completion screen.
  6. In field Comment enter a text comment for the task.
  7. Click Finish.
  8. If necessary, select the issue outcome option and click Choose.
  9. Done. The work on the task is completed!

Task Completion Report

Calling dialog form:  > Tasks

Task completion report is displayed next to the task list.
To display a report on a particular task, select this task on the left side of the screen.

For tasks with a completion period Without repetition, the report is constructed in a special way:

  • If task was not completed during selected period or earlier, message No completion is displayed.
  • If task is completed within selected period, only date of this completion is displayed.
  • If task is not completed within selected period, but task was completed earlier, message Completed earlier [task completion date] is displayed.

Report building mode

Task completion report can be built in one of two modes:

  1. According to task execution plan
    • if task for route was assigned on day when agent did not even work with application, then report will indicate that task for that day is overdue;
    • if task for retail outlets was assigned to those outlets where visits were planned, but visits themselves did not happen for some reason, then report will indicate that task for that day is overdue.
  2. According to facts of agent 's work
    • if task for route was assigned on day when agent was not even working with application, then report will not mark tasks for that day;
    • if task for retail outlets was assigned to those retail outlets where visits were planned, but visits themselves did not happen for some reason, then report will display only those outlets to which visits were made.

Selecting report generation mode

To select report generation mode:

  1. Select a task.
  2. On toolbar (on right side of screen), click .
  3. In dialog box that opens, select report generation mode.

System remembers selected report generation mode and uses it next time report is opened.

Data selection and period selection in report

To limit scope of the report, use one of the filters located on the toolbar:

Filtering by dates
Allows you to select period for which report is being built.

Filtering by outlets
For tasks assigned to retail outlets, it allows you to make a selection by retail outlets.

Report Fields

Date
  • Task completion date
Employee
  • Name of employee who performed the task.
Outlet
  • Composite name of outlet where the task was performed.
  • If task was assigned on route, then its execution is grouped with the mark Outside the Point of Sale.
Employee / Date
  • Planned date of completion of task, if the task was not started on the appointed day.
  • Start date and time, if task has not been completed yet.
  • End date and time, if task is completed.
Outcome / Comment
  • Outcome of the task and a comment on it (if any).
  • If task was completed automatically, this fact is additionally noted in the field.
  • If all three of above values are missing for task (outcome, comment, auto-completion), there is a dash in the field.
Photh
  • Fact of attaching photos during the task.
    When you click on  photo report opens, built in the context of the selected task.
  • If no photos were attached to tasks, then Photos field is not displayed in report.
Status
  • Expired. The task was not completed on the planned date.
    • For tasks assigned to route, task is not considered not completed on the scheduled day if work on the route was not carried out on that day.
    • For tasks assigned to retail outlets, task is not considered not completed at the outlet on the scheduled day if no visit was made to this outlet.
  • Accepted for work. Task is in progress.
  • Completed. Work on task is completed. For tasks that are not completed automatically, the time spent on their execution is additionally displayed.
