Introduction

To control the activities of field employees, you need to be able to track that visits are made directly to retail outlets.
To calculate deviations from the route, you need a base of reference coordinates of retail outlets.
Reference coordinates are set in ST-Mobi.com in the directory Retail outlets by automatic or manual recognition of coordinates.
If the reference coordinates of the point of sale do not correspond to the actual location of the point of sale, they can be changed manually on a mobile device.
Reference coordinates can be assigned by the current location, manually or by the coordinates of past visits.

Assigning new reference coordinates

Calling dialog form:

   > Route > Outlet > Map > Set coordinates of Outlet
   > Route > Outlet > Map > Map Image

Form displays a map on which reference coordinates of outlet are marked with green flag  and current location of employee with blue dot .
To center map by it's current location, tap .

Assignment by current location

The easiest way to assign reference coordinates is to specify current location during a visit to Point of Sale:

1. Make sure that GPS connection is active on mobile device.
2. Choose Assign by current location.
3. Green flag  moves to the point corresponding to the current coordinates.
4. Click Appoint.
5. Done!

Current coordinates of the visit are set as reference coordinates for outlet.

Manual assignment

Reference coordinates can be assigned manually (for example, if it is impossible to determine the location by satellite):

1. Choose Point on map.
2. Indicate on the map the place that corresponds to the coordinates of Outlet.
3. Green flag icon  will appear above selected location.
4. Click Appoint.
5. Done!

Selected coordinates are set as reference coordinates for outlet.

Appointment by visits coordinates

As reference coordinates, you can specify the coordinates of one of the previously completed visits:

1. Choose Coordinates of visits.
2. A number of points will appear on the map corresponding to the coordinates of the last three visits (the date of the visit is indicated in the legend under the map).
3. On the map legend, select a point with the appropriate coordinates.
4. Green flag icon  will appear above it.
5. Click Appoint.
6. Done!

Coordinates of visit are set as reference.

Confirmation of changes in coordinates of Outlets

Any changes that an employee wants to make for retail outlets cannot be automatically applied to ST-Mobi.com!
This was done in order to prevent the manipulation of coordinates by unscrupulous employees in the fields.
All the changes that employees in the fields have made to the customer properties are displayed in the Census in ST-Mobi.com .
Without the confirmation of the office employee, they will not be applied in the system.

Frequently Asked Questions

When opened, map is centered relative to the coordinates in the order of the following priorities:

• coordinates of Outlet,
• coordinates of last visit to Outelet,
• coordinates of current location,
• averaged coordinates of all Retail Outlets,
• averaged coordinates of all visits, not only of this Outlet.

Not all Outlets are visible on map, because Outlets with same coordinates overlap each other.
